Don’t give your time to putting things off. There is no time to kill. Killing time serves nothing except a very temporary release from the pressures of life which requires another temporary release immediately after in order to maintain the charade.
Worst of all, this momentary release doesn’t relieve anything but merely obscures the mounting pressure until even the power of alcohol and modern entertainment crumble underneath the weight of a thousand repressed dreams.
This is not a call to hustle or ambition. This is a call to unhook from what you “have to” do. Most of the pressures of life, externally imposed, are not your concern though you may take comfort in convincing yourself they are. You have no time to kill, you have arbitrary “oughts” to kill. Kill as many as you need to allow your voice and curiosity to dimly light the path.
